Hi, I'm the owner of Pure Tech Sound Systems and what I'm really passionate about is music and business. From an early age music has been a massive part of my life and playing in various bands from the age of 13 offered me an introduction to the live events industry. I began promoting live events at the age of 15 and then used the profits made at these events to invest in Audio Visual equipment, the rest is history...
As the owner of the company, I take pride in making sure every event we are involved in runs smoothly and that you, the client, are more than happy with the service you receive from my company.
I have worked on hundreds of events including both corporate and live events. Mainly on the sound and audio visual side, but I also have a lot of experience with lighting, staging and rigging for live and corporate events.
My name is Gethin and I grew up around music. From an early age I was in and out of theatres with my parents, who are musicians. I was always intrigued by the technical and production side of events as well as being a big fan of all the different genres of music. I get particularly excited when mixing reggae bands.
Over the past 11 years I have mixed hundreds of bands and have worked with many big names from all over the world. I have also worked on many corporate events which includes working with audio visual, sound and lighting equipment plus staging and rigging.
Hi, my name is Dan. I am a fluent Welsh and English speaker with Welsh being my first Language. As a youngster I remember going to theatre shows and being more interested at the musicians playing in the pit and how the whole show ran behind the scenes.
Since then I have worked with many different theatre companies, amateur and professional, to gain knowledge and experience in the industry. I have a big passion for music in general and have a very open mind when it comes to hearing new music.
I am fairly young in the industry but already have over 4 years of experience under my belt. I have worked professionally in theatres and at live events. In the Summer of 2014, I worked as a Sound 2 on Sister Act the Musical in Aberystwyth Arts centre. For the past year I have been working full time for Welsh language National Theatre Wales as their Production assistant and have toured with all of their shows this year.
Greetings ladies and gents. I live for music; I absolutely love the stuff. My first job was resident singer / guitarist in a local pub before building my own studio. I compose for film makers, mix rock albums and edit academic podcasts in order to subsidise my own audio experiments. I branched out into live and corporate sound engineering in 2010 and have fallen head over heels. My perfect night out is mixing FOH for rock and metal bands.
I’ve worked with hundreds of great musicians in many fantastic venues. Regular work includes mixing in The Queens Hall (Narberth), The Moon and Clwb Ifor (Cardiff) and running the tech at The Brewhouse (Cardiff). Clients have included Nick Oliveri (KYUSS, Queens of the Stone Age) James Dean Bradfield (Manic Street Preachers) and Andy Cairns (Therapy?).
My name is Owain and I've been a sound engineer now for over 10 years. I take great pride in doing a good job, making sure both the musicians and audience get the best experience possible through delivering a good sound. I am also the owner and engineer/producer at StudiOwz recording studio in West Wales, where I record and mix bands on a daily basis.
I have worked with hundreds of bands from all over the world. The highlights for me include Simple Minds, T'Pau, Sophie Ellis Bexter, Animals, Andy Fair Weather Low, Jodie Marie and Boom Town Rats.
